There is around 130mil. U$ is sleeping on the NTS account for tax refund as of May 2020.
A lot of E-2 visa holder left back home without filing while over paying his or her tax during the year.
You can file it for 5-years back taxes to take this refund back into your bank account, once it's 5 years after, your tax refund is go away and no more chances.
You can check it on the "Hometax" website with your ID number and name if you filed, but if not, there is no refund you can check.
When you leave my country, you can make a copy of your ARC(alien registration card), so you can use it if needed.
